Oatmeal Yogurt Muffins With Nutella Filling



1.Oatmeal(powdered)-3/4cup
    All purpose flour-3/4cup
    Baking powder-1/2tsp
    Baking Soda-1/8tsp
    Salt-a pinch
2.Eggs-2
   Sugar-3/4cup
   Refined oil-1/2cup
   Vanilla essence-1/2tsp
3. Yogurt-1/2cup
4.Nutella-12tsp





  • Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  • Line a muffin pan with paper liners.
  • Sift together oatmeal,all purpose flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt.
  • In a mixing bowl beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.Add in vegetable oil and vanilla essence.Beat well.Add dry ingredients alternately with yogurt.Stir until just blended.
  • Keep it aside for 15 minutes.Spoon  batter and nutella into the prepared muffin cups,about 3/4 full.

  • Bake until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.(25-30 minutes.)

Oatmeal and Nutella Cookies



Oatmeal-1cup+1/2cup
Egg-1
Sugar-3tbsp
Nutella-3tbsp



  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Grind 1cup oats into a fine powder.Mix with 1/2cup oats and keep aside.
  • Beat egg and sugar until light and fluffy. Add nutella and beat until smooth.Add oats and mix completely.
  • Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  • Shape into small balls and flatten.


  • Bake at 180° for 8-10 minutes or until set.

Ragi Oats Puttu



Oats-1cup
Ragi Powder-1cup
Grated Carrot-2
Water
Salt


  • Dry roast oats and ragi separately for 2 minutes and keep it aside.
  • Wet ragi and oats separately with required quantity of water and salt.
  • Transfer the mix into puttu maker with grated carrot alternately.
  • Place the puttu maker on a pressure cooker and steam for 3-5 minutes.

Oatmeal Choco chips Cookies



Oats-1&1/2cups
All purpose flour-3/4cup
Cinnamon powder-1/2tsp
Baking soda-1/2tsp
Egg-1
Refined oil-1/2cup
Firmly packed Brown sugar-1/2cup
Chocolate chips-1/2cup


Combine all purpose flour,baking soda and cinnamon powder.
In a bowl beat oil and powdered brown sugar until creamy.Add eggs and beat well.Add oats and stir until just blended.Add chocolate chips and mix well.
Preheat oven to 175 degrees.
Drop a tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased  cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until light brown.

Chocolate chips Oatmeal Muffins



1.Oats-1cup
   Milk-1cup
2.All purpose flour-1cup
   Baking powder-1/2tsp
   Baking Soda-1/4tsp
   Cinnamon powder-1/2tsp
3.Egg-1
   Refined oil-1/2cup
   Powdered Brown Sugar-1/2 cup
5.Chocolate chips-1/2cup



  • Preheat oven to 160 degree C.
  • Soak oats in milk for 20 minutes.
  • Combine all-purpose flour,baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder.
  • In a mixing bowl beat oil, brown sugar and egg.Add oats mixture and mix well.Add dry ingredients and stir until just blended.Gently fold in the chocolate chips with a spoon.
  • Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.Bake until  golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.

SIMPLE OATS CAKE AND AN AWARD (100th post)

Oats-1cup
Milk-1cup
Egg-2
Butter-1 stick
Sugar-1cup
Baking powder-1/2tsp
Baking soda-1/2tsp
Vanilla essence-1tsp


1. Soak oats in milk for half an hour.
2. Sieve the flour with the baking powder and baking soda 2 times and keep it aside.
3. In a bowl cream the butter, gradually add sugar and continue to beat until the mixture is fluffy.
4. Add eggs and beat well.
5. Add vanilla essence and oats. Mix well with a wooden spoon.
6. Lastly, add in flour bit by bit and mix towards one direction.
7. Use an oven proof dish; spread a thin layer of butter and sprinkle of flour around the base.
8. Place the batter and close the dish. Microwave on high power for 5 minutes.

OATS-TOMATO HALWA (Microwave)

Oats-1cup
Tomato puree-1cup
Sugar-1 ½ cups
Fried Cashewnuts-1/2cup
Cardamom powder-1tsp
Food color
Ghee-1tbsp


• Soak oats in 2 cups water for 10 minutes.
• Grind it and strain through a sieve.
• Mix all the ingredients.
• Microwave at 100% power for 20-25 minutes.
• Stir every 2 minutes.
• It become a thick halwa consistency; spread it in to a greased plate.

HEALTHY OATS PUTTU

Oats-1cup
Wheat flour-1/2cup
Water-to sprinkle
Salt-to taste
Grated coconut-1/2cup
Grated carrot-1/2cup

METHOD
1.Roast oats and wheat flour for 5 minutes (stir well while heating)
2.Keep it for cooling.
3.Add salt to the powder and sprinkle water on it till moist.
4.Mix carrot with grated coconut.
5.Place a handful of coconut-carrot mix in the “puttukutty” and then add the oats mixture til half followed by another handful of coconut-carrot mix. This is done till the top.
6.Close the lid and steam it until steam comes out through the holes of the lid.`

OATS LADOO




Oats-1/2cup
Semolina-1/2cup
Sugar-3/4cup
Milk-1/3cup
Cardamom powder-1tsp
Raisins-8
Ghee-3tbsp
Green colour-1drop


METHOD

  • Heat ghee and fry raisins.
  • Add oats and semolina and fry till a nice aroma comes out of it.
  • Add sugar and fry on medium heat.
  • At the same time add green colour in milk and boil it.
  • Add boiled milk in to the oats mix and stir until it starts separate from the sides of the pan.
  • Remove from heat and add fried raisins.
  • When it is dried and can be handled apply some ghee to hands and make ladoos.

OATS BEETROOT CHAPPATHI


INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour-1cup
Oats-3/4cup (powder)
Beetroot (grated)-1/2cup
Maida-1/2cup
Salt-to taste
Water
Oil
Make soft dough with the above ingredients.
keeo it aside for at least 2 hours.
Make equal sized balls and roll them out on a rolling board.
Heat a thava and put the chappathi on it.Cook until the underside has brown spots, about 30 seconds, then flip and cook on the other side. Continue with remaining dough.
