Red spinach (chopped)-2cups
Green gram-1/2cup
Coconut-3/4cup
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Garlic-2
Chilly powder-1tsp
Coconut oil-2tsp
Mustard seeds
Green gram-1/2cup

Chilly powder-1tsp
Coconut oil-2tsp
Mustard seeds
- Pressure cooks green gram with water and salt.
- Grind coconut with cumin seeds, chilly powder and garlic.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add chopped spinach and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked green gram, ground paste, 1cup water and salt.
- The curry become semi-thick, remove from fire.
- Serve with rice.
