Chilli Gobi


1.Cauliflower-250gms
2.Cornflour-2tbsp
   Maida-2tbsp
   Baking Powder-1/4tsp
   Chilly paste-1tsp
   Ginger-garlic paste-1tsp
   Salt
3.Ginger(chopped)-1tsp
   Garlic(chopped)-1tsp
   Green Chilly(chopped)- 1tsp
4.Capsicum(yellow,green,red)-1cup
   Onion-1
   Spring onion(chopped)-2tbsp
5.Hot chilly Sauce-2tbsp
   Tomato sauce-3tbsp
   Soya sauce-1tbsp
   Chilly paste-1tbsp(optional)
6.Cornflour-1tsp
   Water-1/4cup
7.Refined Oil



  • Wash the cauliflower and cut into small florets and boil for 5 minutes with pinch of salt. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  • Make a slightly thick batter with Cornflour, maida, Baking Powder, Chilly paste ,Ginger-garlic paste ,water and salt.
  • Coat cauliflower with the batter and then deep fry till golden.

  • Heat 2tbsp refined oil in a pan.Add ginger,garlic, green chilly and fry for a minute.
  • Add onions,chopped spring onion and capsicum . Saute till onions turn translucent and shiny(do not brown the onions).
  • Add soy sauce,chilly sauce,tomato sauce and chilly paste.Fry for a minute.
  • Add, 1tsp cornflour dissolved in 1/4 cup water.Add the fried cauliflower and mix well.Adjust salt and remove from heat.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onion.

Easy Cheese Cake




1.Akawi Cheese-400gms
   Condensed milk-1/2tin
   Milk-1/2cup
   Sugar-1tbs
2.Gelatin-10gms
   Water-2tbsp+1/3cup
2.Glucose Biscuit-150gms
   Butter-50gms
3.Canned Cherry Filling-1/2tin



  • Cut cheese into thin slices. Soak cheese in water for 4 hours to remove the salt (change water every 30minutes). Drain and wrap the cheese in kitchen towel for 1hour to absorb any remaining water.
  • Grind the biscuits and mix in the melted butter with it. Grease a shallow tray with butter.Sprinkle the mixture over and press well to flatten evenly all over the tray.Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • Blend cheese, condensed milk,sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Soak gelatine in 2tbsp cold waterfor 10 minutes.Add 1/3 cup boiling water and mix well..Mix with cheese mixture.Pour on to the biscuit base.Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  • Garnish with cherry filling.

Apple Coconutmilk Pudding With Chocolate topping



1.Apple(grated)-2
   Sugar-2tbsp
   Unflavored gelatin-5gms
2.Canned coconut milk-400ml
   Sugar-4 tbsp
   Unflavored gelatin-10gms
3.Dark Chocolate-100gms
   Butter-1tbsp
   Sugar-2tbs
   Water-50ml



  • Mix grated apple with 2tbsp of sugar.Soak gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes.Dissolve 5gms of gelatin in 1/4cup boiling water.Stir in the apples.Pour the mixture into a serving mold and refrigerate to set for 15 minutes.
  • Dissolve 10gms of gelatin in 1/3 cup boiling water.Mix with coconut milk and sugar.Pour on to the apple base.Refrigerate for an hour.
  • Heat water and sugar in a pan, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugar.Add butter and chocolate into the sugar syrup and stir until  all the ingredients have blended together.Allow it to cool and pour slowly on top of the pudding.Refrigerate for an hour.
  • Cut into desired shape and serve.

Mini Pavlova With Fruit Custard Filling



For Pavlova
Egg White-2
Powdered Sugar-1/2cup

For Fruit Custard
Vanilla custard powder-2tbsp
Milk-500ml
Sugar-4tbsp

Mixed Fruits(I used banana,apple and grapes)

  • Preheat oven to 150 degrees.
  • In a large bowl beat egg whites on high speed until soft peaks form.Gradually add in the sugar ,1tbsp at a time,beating well after each addition,until sugar is completely dissolved.

  • Place star nozzle in piping bag.Fill with egg white sugar mixture.Pipe egg white mixture in the shape of a basket.


  • Reduce temperature to 120 degrees.Bake until crispy.(45-50 minutes)




  • Mix 2tbsp of custard powder with 2tbsp of milk.Pour this mixture and sugar into the milk and stir well.Boil the milk until slightly thick.Keep it aside.Mix Fruits with custard before serving.
  • Fill pavlova with fruit custard and serve.

Nutella Bread Pudding



1.Bread Slices-8 pieces
   Nutella-4tbsp
2.Milk-500ml
   Vanilla custard powder-1tbsp
   Sugar-3-4tbsp


  • Mix 1tbsp of custard powder with 2tbsp of milk.Pour this mixture and sugar into the milk and stir well.Boil the milk until slightly thick.Keep it aside.
  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  • Make 4 sandwiches with bread and nutella.Cut each sandwiches into 12 pieces.
  • Arrange bread pieces into the baking dish.Pour custard over the bread pieces.

  • Bake at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.
