VISHU SPECIAL FRUIT PACHADI

Apple(grated)-1
Green grapes(chopped)-1/2cup
Blue grapes-1/2cup
Green chillies-2
Salt-to taste
Grated coconut-1/2cup
Cumin seeds-1/4tbsp
Crushed mustard seeds-1/2tbsp
Yoghurt-250gms
Chopped shallots-2
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Curry leaves-1spring


1. Cook grated apple with chopped green chilly, sugar & salt.
2. Grind coconut with cumin seeds to a smooth paste.
3. Add coconut paste and crushed mustard seeds in to the apple mix.
4. It become a thick consistency, remove from fire.
5. Add yoghurt ,grapes and mix well.
6. Season with chopped shallots, mustard seeds ,dry red chilly and curry leaves.

CHEESE PAKODA AND AWARDS


Cheese(grated)-1/2cup
Maida-1cup
Onion(sliced)-1
Green chilly(chopped)-3
Ginger(chopped)-1tsp
Curry leaves(chopped)-1spring
Baking Soda-1/4tsp
Water
Salt
Oil-for frying

Mix all the ingredients.
Take a small portion and drop it in hot oil.
Fry till golden brown

CHEERA-PAYAR CURRY(Red spinach-Greengramcurry)

Red spinach (chopped)-2cups
Green gram-1/2cup
Coconut-3/4cup
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Garlic-2
Chilly powder-1tsp
Coconut oil-2tsp
Mustard seeds


  • Pressure cooks green gram with water and salt.
  • Grind coconut with cumin seeds, chilly powder and garlic.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add chopped spinach and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add cooked green gram, ground paste, 1cup water and salt.
  • The curry become semi-thick, remove from fire.
  • Serve with rice.
